Defining the path to a Non-Toxic Circular Economy: A Theory of Change workshop (11./12. Nov)

03 / 11 / 2021

The EU Green Deal shows that change is inevitable – for example regarding the goal of a non-toxic circular economy. What needs to happen to business models along supply chains to be future-proof? Which stimulating framework conditions are required for this transformation?

Taking the perspectives of decision-makers from industry, politics and society, this workshop will identify pathways and develop proactive strategies to pave the way for the implementation of the Green Deal’s circular economy ambition.

The Workshop takes place within the context of the LIFE AskREACH activities aimed at policy uptake. It will shed light on the role of REACH Article 33 supply chain communication and consumer empowerment with a view to the non-toxic circular economy.

The workshop will be held in two sessions:

Session 1 on Thursday, 11 November 2021, 10:00-12:30 CET, focusses on visioning. Participants are invited to develop a jointly shared vision of a non-toxic circular economy for the year 2050.

Session 2 on Friday, 12 November 2021, 11:00-13:00 CET uses backcasting to analyze how the vision from session 1 can be achieved.
